Off-Grid Marketplace respects intellectual property rights. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Filing a DMCA notice

If you believe content on Off-Grid Marketplace infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes all of the following:

  1. An electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. The URL of the specific listing or content on Off-Grid Marketplace that you claim infringes.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Counter-notice

If you believe content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice including: your signature, identification of the removed material and its URL, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, your name and contact info, and your consent to federal court jurisdiction in your district.

Repeat infringers

We terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights.

False claims

Filing a knowingly false DMCA notice may subject you to liability for damages, costs, and attorney’s fees. Don’t abuse this process.
