Last updated: this policy reflects how Off-Grid Marketplace currently handles your data. We’ll post the date when it changes.
What we collect
- Account information — your name, email, optional phone, business name, and avatar — only the fields you choose to provide.
- Listing data — anything you publish (title, description, photos, location, price). This is public by design.
- Messages and leads — content of messages between users on the platform, stored so both sides have a record.
- Payment information — handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers. We see only confirmation IDs and amounts.
- Usage data — IP address, browser, pages visited, anonymized to help us improve the site.
How we use it
- To operate the site and your account.
- To process payments and payouts.
- To send transactional emails (order confirmations, lead notifications, security alerts).
- To send occasional product updates if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To enforce our terms and respond to legal requests.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your data.
- We don’t share it with ad networks for cross-site tracking.
- We don’t read your private messages except as needed to investigate abuse reports.
Your rights
You can view, edit, export, or delete your account information at any time from your dashboard. EU/UK and California residents have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA — email wichmaneric@gmail.com with any data request and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies for sign-in sessions, theme preference, and cart state. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Children
Off-Grid Marketplace is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.
